Euphoria of Euro 2008 will be ended soon. There were a lot of surpises came from the result of the match. The overhayped Netherland surprisingly lost to Russia at their quarter-final match. The reigning world cup champion Italy also lost to Spain during their quarter-final match. Croatia and my sentimental favorite Portugal did the same. They surrender against their rival through penalty shoot and extra time.

What happen? Well, thats sport. Anything can happen. The real match is when a team can defeat their own fear and pressure during the match. Netherland’s squad shall learn that.

As a result, many fans of Netherland, Italy and Croatia cried because of their team shall pack the luggage too early from Austria and Suisse.

I also upset with this year Euro Cup since my favorite team already gone..all..yup..Netherland and Italy. Now, we looking for the semi’s. There are Germany-Turkey and Russia-Spain. Who will go to the final? I vote for German and Spain. Will it happen? Stay tune to know it. Hahahaha.

In the other continent, there is also a match between 81 countries in the world. Its not sport but its beauty pageant..yup Donald Trump’s show Miss Universe. In this kind of competition, the participants shall use strategies too, well at least about how to dreess-up; to be pretty all the time with the high heels and flawless evening gown; to use the two piece bikini so that the judge will looking at you. bla..bla.

The leasson of wisdom that I learn from today Euro Cup is no matter -how tough are you- ; -how good and clever are you- ; -how great your coach- the best way to prove and test it is when the team can cooperate in the field, execute the strategy, do not want to be selt-centered (your playing as a team) and conquer your own pressure. So that with Miss Universe, they will do anything to be chosen as the most beautiful woman in the universe and wear the crown – even with a lots of plastic surgeries. But the real winner, nearly comes not only form physical beauty but also what other people feel when they sitting next to the Miss and talk to her..it is comfort or “Damn..this woman is so sucks..”

What wisdom that you learnt today?

In this world, people have to make decision each minutes of their lives. Do you agree? So I decided to write on these joke which I heard from my colleague. I am using names of my closest friend to describe the conversation between these 2 (two) people. For Jessy and Agus, I don’t know why, I really want to use your both names on my blog. Hopefully its ok for you. [I think it will be ok].

In a cafetaria, Agus and Jessy were talking. Next to them are me. I listening what are they talking about.

Agus: “Jes, pardon me. It is ok, if I am asking you something?”

Jessy: “Its okey, Gus. What are you want to ask?”

Agus: “But promise, you will be mad about my question.” [little bit insist]

Jessy: “Gus, i need to know your question first. Then I’ll figure it out whether I’ll mad or not.” [little bit depressed]

Agus: “No. I will not ask, if you not make your promise first.” [another insist]

Jessy: “Okey, Gus. I’ll promise. So what is your want to know actually?” [with uncomfortable voice]

Agus: “Hhm..Why did you leave your last job?

Jessy: “Lets see Gus. Its kindly personal to me. I’ll rather not answer it. It is okey for you?”

Agus: “Oh, c’mon Jes. You already promise to me earlier. You will answer my question. C’mon. Answer it. I don’t see it as personal question. I just need to know the answer.” [another insisting and disturbing character]

Jessy: “Okey Gus. I’ll let you know. My reason to leave my last job was something my boss said.”

Agus: “What?” [another insist]

Jessy: “Are you really want to hear it?”

Agus: “Yes..yes..tell me! Hurry!” [impatience condition]

Jessy: “My boss said : YOU’RE FIRED!”

Agus: “Huh?? Thats it”

Jessy: [smiling and chattering] “Do you think???” [Jessy get angry]

What happen next? I found that Agus has been unconscious since Jessy thrown a chair to him. [its just a drama effect guys..hehehe]

The wisdom that we learn from above conversation is: Don’t be intolerant to your friend – If you want to be a good friend – You shall put yourself as a true friend for your own – Make your friend feel comfort when they are hanging out with you. If they feel comfort, they will share anything that they think you will be able to gave a positive input into.

What wisdom that you have learn today?

We often arguing on why we sometime make a bad choices in our life. From the bad color of our shirt, bad taste of food we ordered, bad girlfriend/boyfriend to have relationship with, and etc. If we always do that kind of stuff, don’t we realize that we already become a greedy human-being? Being selfish and greedy is a natural human talent. But can’t we at least be thankful for each kind of things that we got in this lives? I know its hard. But you know, trying to do that is not bad either. Rite??

This is a tip from me: Whether you’re looking for a new job, a gift for someone or even a soulmate (and then you realize that its hard to know whether to take what you’ve just seen or continue looking)  >> weigh up the merits of the first offer – but don’t accept it. Afterwards continue to looking and accept another offer that beats the initial one. This has been proved to maximize your hances of making the best choice and minimize the risk of making the worst.

Many Indonesian have become poorest than before since the significant increase of gas prices. I felt that too. Usually with IDR 150,000 – I can buy premium for 1 weeks. But now? You wish!! I knew that this also occured in most of the world. Seem life will be more difficult than before. But as I quoted from Elizabeth Hamilton:

“Well, at least there’s one good thing about high gas prices: Whenever I fill the tank, I double value of my car“.
